Verified allowlist
Edible flowers
This is an allowlist, not a survey. A flower appears here only once its edibility and botanical identity have been verified, and nothing outside the list is published anywhere on this site.
The usual danger is not misidentification. It is provenance: flowers grown for display are routinely treated with systemic pesticide, so garland, temple and florist stock is not food whatever the species. Every entry carries a sourcing note for that reason.
